Sun, Sand and Surf: A History of Sauble Beach - D.S. Pyper

This is the first book published by David Pyper. Sauble Beach has been part of his summer experience since 1955, and for his family since 1940. David is a former history teacher in elementary and secondary schools, and worked in educational administration in Brantford for over twenty years prior to his retirement. Originally from Hamilton, and a McMaster University and Brock University graduate, David now makes his home with his wife, Gail, in North Dumfries Township, part of the Waterloo Region. He is a leader in local historical activity within that community. David plans to complete a second volume related to Sauble Beach history, once he has had a summer to rest and reflect on the sandy shores of Sauble Beach once again.
